About Download Instructions
New Version 0.27
Nunchuk support! Also now has a TroubleShooter > BlueTooth Fix menu, which may make it work with other BlueTooth adapters. Note that this won't help if you are still unable to pair the Wiimote without a password.
Download version 0.27 of GlovePIE here.
Just extract it to a directory of your choosing. Then run it. There is nothing to install. If you want to associate .PIE files with GlovePIE, you will need to do so yourself.
NOTE! You may not use this software on military bases, or for military purposes, or in Israel (which amounts to the same thing). Violation of the license agreement will be prosecuted. See the readme for the license agreement.

Other required or optional downloads
WinZip to unzip it. If you have Windows XP you don't need it.
DirectX 8 or above is essential. GlovePIE will not run without it. But you probably already have it installed. It also comes with most modern games if you don't want to download it.
PPJoy is needed if you want to emulate the joystick. It is highly recommended, but you can still emulate the keyboard or mouse without it if you have Windows 2000 or XP. If you have an older version of Windows, then PPJoy is strongly recommended as keyboard emulation won't work in DirectX games on Win9x.
MIDI Yoke is needed if you want to emulate MIDI input devices. You only need this if you are a musician. If MIDI Yoke won't work, you can also use the old buggy Hubi's Loopback Driver instead.
Microsoft Speech Recogniser 5.1 or above. You need this for controlling a game with speech. Highly recommended! You may already have it, it comes with Microsoft Office. Check the speech control panel. If you have Windows 2000/XP/2003 professional or server versions, download here for version 6.1. Otherwise download version 5.1 here.
SAPI 5.1 or above. You need this if you want speech synthesis. You may already have it, since It comes with Windows XP, Microsoft Office, and with the Speech Recogniser above.
Mike and Mary voices for speech synthesis. You only need this if you have Windows XP and you want all three voices, not just Sam.
High quality speech synthesis voices. If you want better quality voices, and don't mind wasting hard-disk space and download bandwidth on speech engines, then try high-quality speech synthesis engines like these ones from Cepstral. I'd try the smaller ones first, even though they aren't as good. The demos sometimes add a nag message to the spoken text. Please don't use a keygen to crack them because these voices are good and you can buy them for only $30.
